Lost Opportunities Survey
The Land Conservation and Advocacy Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving open spaces and natural resources, and to promoting smart-growth practices that encourage conservation. Central to our mission is the development and deployment of a fund that will allow us to provide significant and decisive emergency funding to quickly take advantage of conservation and preservation opportunities. Once the land in question is secured by the LCA Trust, it can be managed, and eventually transferred to, local stewards. The LCA Trust also acts as a legal advocate, either directly or as an amicus litigant, on behalf of interests where land conservation and smart-growth development ideals are threatened or can be promoted. If you would like to learn more about the LCA Trust, please visit our website at www.lcatrust.org.
Please take a minute to fill out this survey and tell us about every land conservation opportunity you wished to pursue that slipped away because immediate funding was not available. We will use this information to help motivate our donors and to help us better understand the needs of local land trusts.
