Event Partner Summit
July 10-14, 2017
Thank you for your interest in attending the 2017 Event Partner Summit to be held in Louisville, Kentucky. This year we are encouraging participants to use Monday, July 10 and Friday, July 14 as travel days. Attendees will be responsible for their own travel to and from Louisville. Accommodations of up to four nights and meals during the event will be provided.
VEX Robotics and the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation are planning the event to provide Event Partners with three full days of networking, information sharing, and discussion on July 11-13. We heard you last year and an effort is being made to offer more hands-on content through workshops. The three days will allow more content to be offered and popular topics can be repeated so that Event Partners can get more out of attending the 6th annual VEX Robotics Event Partner Summit.
In order to be eligible to attend this event, you must have hosted a VEX tournament listed on RobotEvents.com for the 2016-17 competition season. If you are actively working with an REC Foundation Regional Support Manager to develop a tournament for the 2017-18 competition season, you are also eligible to attend the Event Partner Summit.
Event Partners interested in attending the summit are asked to answer the following survey questions and to provide their complete contact information. Once we have received your information, an REC Foundation representative will contact you regarding the necessary travel arrangements no later then June 1.
While VEX Robotics and the REC Foundation would like to open this opportunity to as many Event Partners as possible, space is limited. In order to properly prepare for the summit, Event Partners need to complete this interest form by May 14, 2017. If demand exceeds capacity we will work to make sure as many different states and countries as possible are present.
