Sacred Heart Major Seminary celebrates the contributions of its alumni each year with the conferral of several Distinguished Alumni awards. The Distinguished Senior Priest Alumnus (Msgr. Albert Matyn Award) honors a senior priest who has made significant contributions to the mission of the seminary, the mission of the Church, or has publicly demonstrated the Christian values representative of their seminary education. The awardee will be a senior priest who has excelled in their service to Church and community and who has distinguished himself by the overall impact of his contributions.
